Top Ten Recommendations for Mind-Body Health

Using the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I share with you some recommendations to maintain vibrant mind-body health.
1. Eat organic whole foods and stay hydrated with good quality water
2. Breathe deeply and slowly into your abdomen. Soften the breath in the belly and let go!
3. Manage stress and learn to slow down. Have fun, play, and be creative.
4. Practice regular moderate exercise. Choose activities that you truly enjoy.
5. Get 8-10 hours of good quality sleep. Rest and slow down when needed.
6. Decrease your exposure to chemicals and toxins.
7. Develop relationships with health professionals who support your health. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to your health. Regular medical care is very important in order to deal with and prevent illness.
8. Develop loving connections and relationships. Create community.
9. Contribute your gifts. Meaningfulness is felt when we are in a space of contributing to others in the world.
